JNGL (pronounced ‘jungle’) has given us some great, fun paintings to share April 20th at the opening of
Hello World, an amazing show that is being lovingly brewed by urban art curator Luna George. With roots in graffiti and tattooing, Costa Rican born / Miami raised painter, JNGL brings multiple influences from cartoons, video games, societal issues, life, death and nature into his paintings with a goal for constant expression.
The talented painter is also a DJ, which he claims as a major source of inspiration for his visual work. “I believe that music and art go hand in hand, like left and right. One inspires the other, they constantly revolve around each other, music inspires art- art inspires music.”
Maybe you’ll be inspired by his whimsical paintings this Saturday. Come and see for yourself!
